Job Description :

To oversee all quality assurance operations, we are seeking a meticulous quality assurance specialist. Creating and implementing quality assurance policies, carrying out tests and inspections, spotting problems with production, processes, or products, and offering fixes are all part of the duties of the quality assurance specialist.

In order to meet set quality standards, quality assurance specialists are in charge of keeping an eye on, examining, and suggesting ways to enhance or rectify a business’s finished goods and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Test Execution & Verification

• Execute manual and automated test cases.
• Validate software functionality against defined test cases.
• Log defects and track them to resolution.

Test Case Development

• Assist in creating and maintaining test cases based on business and technical requirements.
• Identify and document test scenarios, edge cases, and regression cases.

Defect Reporting & Analysis

• Accurately log, track, and prioritize defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
• Work closely with developers to reproduce and resolve issues.

Collaboration & Communication

• Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide test execution updates.
• Coordinate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders for issue resolution.

Test Environment & Tools

• Use testing tools such as Selenium, JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.
• Assist in maintaining test environments and datasets.

Compliance & Best Practices

• Follow established QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related fields
• Experience: 0-1 years in software testing or a related role.
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic understanding of software testing principles.
  • Familiarity with test case management and defect tracking tools.
  • Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Katalon, UFT) is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow structured testing processes.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to Agile methodologies.
