Job Description

Are you enthusiastic, dynamic, and ready to thrive in a 24×7 customer-centric environment? Join our Global IT Service Delivery team, as Trainee, Global IT Technical Support, where you’ll play a key role in delivering technical and software distribution services across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

• IT Request Management:
  Handle all IT service requests logged via the IT ticketing tool, including classification, approval routing, assignment to L2/L3 support, and follow-up until resolution.
• Incident Assessment & Escalation:
  Evaluate severity, impact, and risk of incidents. Escalate to appropriate L2/L3 teams when necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Process & Policy Compliance:
  Adhere to established IT processes and policies during daily operations to maintain service quality and compliance.
• Project Support:
  Participate in IT project activities as assigned, ensuring timely execution and collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
• Problem Identification:
  Analyze incoming incidents to identify recurring issues or problem areas and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT):
  Provide support during UAT phases to ensure smooth testing and feedback collection.
• ISO Standards Awareness:
  Maintain awareness of ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) standards as applicable to IT operations.

The role is based in our office in SP Infocity, Hadapsar, Pune.

Qualifications & Experience required to succeed in this role

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Professional Experience: 0–1 years of experience in a Windows environment.

Key Skills and Competencies

• Solid understanding of operating systems, networks, and applications.
• Familiarity with mobile operating systems including iOS, Android, and Windows.
• Knowledge of SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager) is a plus.
• Customer service-oriented mindset.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and share knowledge with team members.
• Effective communicator and attentive listener within the team.
• Basic understanding of ITIL practices is preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams across functions.
• Willingness to work in a 24×7 shift environment.
