As a Software Engineer I at Nike’s Geographies & Marketplace Experiences (GaME) – Athlete Tools team located at India Technology Center, you’ll work alongside a group of talented engineers building solutions for global digital and in-store platforms designed to deliver best-in-class consumer experiences.

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer to be part of a mission critical team. You will participate
in designs and implementation on a team building high-throughput, low-latency, fault-tolerant Paid Media solutions to drive Nike’s Digital transformation and growth strategies. The candidate needs to have strong communication skills, help solve complex problems, and be a collaborative teammate
In this role, you will gain a deep understanding of Nike’s technology landscape and business perspectives for the geography. You will be responsible for partnering with Global teams to augment existing and implement new products and capabilities through the development cycle. In this role, it is critical to partnering with local engineering teams, global engineering teams, product managers, business stakeholders and the rest of your immediate development team.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate: Work closely with product managers, engineers to understand requirements,
technical specifications, and deliver quality software. - Explain designs to teammates to for alignment and approval
- Ensure solutions are designed and developed using a scalable, highly resilient cloud-native
architecture - Development: Design and implement large datasets and complex data pipelines using
technologies like Python, Java, Databricks, Hive and Spark - Participate in design reviews with peers to provide feedback
