Job Overview

This role begins with a structured 6-month probation and training program, with opportunities for faster promotion if you progress quickly.

Key job responsibilities

1. Build secure, scalable WordPress solutions using best practices
2. Write clean, reusable code with proper documentation
3. Develop responsive themes and high-quality plugins
4. Understand client requirements and deliver effective solutions
5. Communicate proactively and manage deadlines in a remote setup

Must Haves

1. Strong understanding of JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, HTML, and CSS
2. Familiarity with Git and basic web architecture
3. Quick learner with solid problem-solving skills
4. Open-source contributions e.g., Pull requests on open source Github projects

Good to Have

1. WordPress theme/plugin development
2. Experience with React
3. Familiarity with Composer, Nginx/Apache, and unit testing
4. Basic hardware knowledge
