Job Description :

We are seeking a network engineer to oversee and manage the computer networks in our organization. Maintaining computer networks, hardware, software, and other associated systems, carrying out disaster recovery procedures, defending data, software, and hardware against intrusions, and repairing malfunctioning network hardware components as needed are your main responsibilities. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our network’s users to find possible problems and address current ones.

Network engineers are in charge of creating and managing the daily operations of the computer networks that businesses and organizations depend on. A local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), intranet, and extranet are examples of these networks.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Take ownership of team deliverables, ensuring high-quality output and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with global teams to design, develop, and maintain platform components.
• Contribute to software development lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Adhere to best practices in software engineering to enhance usability, scalability, performance, and security.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders by providing regular progress updates and status reports.
• Work closely with Operations teams to support daily processes and identify opportunities for automation or efficiency improvements.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement activities.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and contribute to technical initiatives and innovation.

Required Skills (Technical Competency):

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong foundation in programming and software development principles.
• Proficiency in one or more of the following programming languages and technologies: o Java / Python / .NET / C# / JavaScript / SQL
• Understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including: o Object-Oriented Design, Data Structures, Algorithms, Databases, Debugging, Refactoring, and Design Patterns.
• Familiarity with modern development tools and practices such as Git, Agile methodologies, RESTful APIs, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) is an added advantage.
