Job Description

A Cloud Operations Associate at Syntax is responsible for supporting the daily technical operations of public and private cloud environments. You’ll collaborate with cloud and OS teams to maintain servers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth ongoing cloud infrastructure functioning. This is a hands-on, entry-level role in an enterprise cloud operations team.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Cloud Infrastructure Support

    • Provide technical support for public & private cloud environments.

    • Collaborate with OS and cloud teams to manage and monitor servers.

    • Assist in regular maintenance tasks to ensure infrastructure health and uptime.

    • Help manage cloud services and resources across multi-cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, etc.).

    • Troubleshoot basic infrastructure issues and escalate complex problems when needed.

    Operational Tasks

    • Perform daily checks and routines for cloud systems.

    • Support incident response and ensure timely issue resolution.

    • Contribute to change implementations like patches, updates, and configurations.

    • Assist in deployments and operational procedures under supervision.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer systems, Electronics, Informatics, Mechatronics or similar.
