Winfo Solutions Trainee Software Engineer Full Time

Role and Responsibilities

• You’ll assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications under guidance of senior developers.

• Write clean, efficient, maintainable and well-documented code, often using languages like Java, C, C++, Python, or JavaScript.

• Work on both front-end and/or back-end modules — in many cases full-stack, or at least some portion of web/application development (e.g. HTML/CSS/JS + database + server-side).

• Perform unit testing, debugging, and bug-fixing of software; ensure quality and reliability of deliverables.

• Collaborate with senior engineers/teams: participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies / sprint cycles, follow best coding practices & development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Learn and adapt: pick up new technologies, frameworks, languages as needed; be ready to evolve with project demands.

Skills & Eligibility

• Educational qualification: usually B.E./B.Tech (CS/IT), or equivalent (MCA, B.Sc, or similar) — freshers / 0–1 year experience accepted.

• Fundamental knowledge of programming concepts / OOP (Object-Oriented Programming) and familiarity with at least one programming language (Java, C, C++, Python, JavaScript, etc.)

• Basic understanding of databases and SQL / relational databases / DB management, especially if role involves backend/web or data storage.

• Logical thinking, analytical skills, problem-solving, and willingness/attitude to learn new technologies and frameworks.

• Soft skills: good communication, teamwork — because you’ll often work in teams, with code reviews, collaboration, or guided mentorship.
