Latest job opening in BEACON for Technical Support Engineer . As a Technical Support Engineer – CAE at BEACON India, you will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to our customers who use our Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) software. You will be the go-to person for our customers when they encounter technical issues or have questions about how to best utilize our software.

To help our clients with all IT and technical-related difficulties, we are seeking to hire a qualified technical support engineer. Responding to report tickets and providing clients with on-site or remote assistance will be your responsibility. This could involve setting up software and hardware, identifying networking problems, updating software, and fixing IT problems.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • Previous experience in a technical support role, preferably in the software industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with CAE software and an understanding of engineering principles
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, or chat
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with our CAE software and provide solutions in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with our development and product teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
  • Create and maintain documentation, knowledge base articles, and FAQs to help customers resolve common challenges
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and patches for customers
  • Conduct training sessions and webinars to help customers better understand and utilize our CAE software
  • Act as a liaison between customers and our internal teams to relay feedback and feature requests
