Latest job opening in Cognizant for Java + IBM FTM Developer. Computer programmers who are skilled in Java code are known as Java developers. Their main duties include creating and executing Java programmes, creating and testing software, and resolving emergent technical problems.

We are searching for extremely talented programmers with prior Java web application development experience. Among their responsibilities are the analysis of user requirements and corporate objectives, the determination of programme features and functionality, and the recommendation of modifications to already-existing Java-based applications.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • degree in a relevant discipline, such as computer science.
  • familiarity with database structures, statistical analysis, and user interface design.
  • a strong analytical approach and aptitude for addressing problems.

Job Responsibilities
  • Monitor design, development and testing to ensure alignment with requirements traceability matrix.
  • Create high level design.
  • Guide the product specialist in translating the high level design into detailed design.
  • Review to ensure that the design is comprehensive and addresses all requirements.
  • Code for complex components.
  • Review code created by the developers based on requirements.
  • Participate in peer design reviews.
  • Drive the review meetings with the customers on the design with support from the Product Specialist.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of defects / process issues.
  • Identify/design reusable components and solution enablers.
  • Create product based KT document, for the customer.
