To assure product quality, we are searching for a rigorous and results-driven test analyst to create and implement test processes. In order to give a superior product before it is sold, it will be your responsibility as a test analyst to evaluate the viability and functionality of computer hardware and software.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- an IT or computer science bachelor’s degree.
- a track record of success using coding and computer applications.
- familiarity with software development.
- outstanding diagnostic and analytical abilities.
- proficiency with programming and testing methodologies.
- above average organisational, planning, and detail-oriented skills.
- the capacity to keep track of technical assessments and produce clear reports on them.
- Proficiency in project management and aptitude for collaborative work.
- Effective time management and deadline compliance abilities.
Job Responsibilities
- Execute test cases manually in Mainframe Applications. Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing on mainframe applications. Analyze test results and identify defects or areas for improvement.
- Prepare test summary reports, defect metrics, and other testing-related documentation for project stakeholders. Communicate test progress, issues, and risks to project managers and team members.
- Monitoring the batch and Analyzing batch abends.
- Document defects found during testing and track them to resolution using defect tracking tools like JIRA or Test Rail. Work closely with development teams to reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
- Interact with integration infrastructure and varied systems to perform E2E testing.
