They design, create, test, debug, and deploy software based on the insights they have obtained. They are also in charge of keeping an eye on, repairing, and enhancing the software that already exists.
We are seeking a qualified software engineer to work on projects that our company is currently developing, working in tandem with our outstanding software development team. Developing and overseeing software system validation and testing procedures as well as managing our software programming projects are just a few of the responsibilities. In order to provide project status updates and proposals, you will also collaborate closely with clients and departments that span functional boundaries.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Ability to develop software in Java, Javascript, Node.js, HTML, CSS.
- Knowledge of relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies (JPA2, Hibernate, etc)
- Understanding of web applications utilizing at least one of the web framework – JSF, Wicket, GWT, Spring MVC.
- Familiarity with server infrastructure,deployments and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of test-driven development & proficiency in software engineering tools
- Strong foundation in data structures and algorithms.
- Ability to document requirements and specifications.
- Knowledge of one of the Javascript frameworks – React/Vue.js/Gatsby/Next.js will be a plus.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, develop, and test software solutions using industry best practices and technologies.
- Develop flowcharts, layouts and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, performance, and scalability.
- Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures
- Develop product specifications and determine operational feasibility.
- Document and maintain software functionality
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
- Ensure software is updated with latest features
