A Risk Analyst, or Risk Assessor, is a business expert responsible for determining the potential consequences of performing a business action. Their duties include reading and analyzing financial data, creating visual models to represent possible outcomes and preparing reports about business decisions.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- Knowledge of Risk and Credit scorecards
- Hands-on experience of defining risk strategies,
- managing portfolio and building risk models along with problem solving and analytical thinking
- Adept in quantitative analysis, data mining, trend analysis and creating insights within large data ecosystem.
- Proficiency in data tools like SQL/Python communication and Stakeholder managementÂ
- you are able to present your point of view cogently and are able to engage effectively with everyone from external partners to CXOs
Job Responsibilities
- Develop underwriting strategies for Personal Loan leveraging existing / alternate data
- Hands-on approach to risk segmentation & ability to implement the same on system
- Monitor implemented strategies to continuously assess business & risk impact
- Collaborating with teams like – Data Science, Product, Business to setup and monitor underwriting strategies
- Monitor & track repayment patterns of existing portfolio & propose strategy changes (if any)
- Detailed understanding of in-house systems & agility to change the same whenever required
- Create and Manage exception triggers in the underwriting rule engine
- Monitoring of TTD, Approval and conversion metrics and identify opportunities to enhance business or marginal segments to maintain a sound portfolio.
