Latest job opening in Micron for Associate DBA Engineer. To assist our organization’s databases operate at peak efficiency, we are looking for a results-driven database engineer. You will be building new scripts and support programmes, improving our data storage capacity, and debugging database code.

Database administrators are in charge of overseeing and maintaining the databases used by their organisations. They are responsible for making sure these vital pieces of technology are operational and for upholding a data management strategy.

Skills set Required for this Job :
  • a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctoral degree in mathematics, computer science, or a similar technical discipline
  • comprehensive knowledge of tools for monitoring and analysing database performance
  • proficiency with database server specification, analysis, tuning, and optimisation
  • Knowledge of AWS, GCP, and Azure is preferred.
  • strong background in planning and recovering from database disasters
  • demonstrated aptitude for resolving challenging database management issues
  • Capacity to collaborate with various operations and applications engineering teams, database developers, and engineers to find, evaluate, and fix
  • database performance problems
  • Desired is experience with Postgres, Cassandra, MySQL, and/or MongoDB.

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, implement and manage mission critical databases and data warehouse for Manufacturing and Engineering operations.
  • Provide operation support, including participating in on-call rotations, to ensure high performance and availability of the databases.
  • Perform capacity planning, evaluate database technologies and tools to continuously improve database performance, reliability and availability.
  • Develop processes and operation procedures related to database operations
  • Participate in Agile development lifecycle for software and solutions related to Manufacturing and Engineering.
