A keen eye for detail, in-depth understanding of software design and engineering, and a natural aptitude for software troubleshooting are all necessary for success as a software test engineer. Even the tiniest defect in software designs should be able to be found and fixed by a competent software test engineer.
To expand our QA team, we are searching for a qualified software test engineer. Your job as a software test engineer will be to assess software features and create test plans to make sure the final products perform as intended. In addition, you will be in charge of finishing all testing protocols, making recommendations for performance modifications, and creating performance summaries for the development managers.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- a bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline.
- solid professional background as a software test engineer.
- thorough familiarity with program testing tools such as HP LoadRunner and Bugzilla.
- advanced proficiency with programming languages and debugging programs.
- familiarity with common operating systems, such as Linux and Windows.
- strong focus on details.
- the capacity to gather information and create test reports.
- outstanding troubleshooting abilities with software.
- the capacity to plan and create intricate software testing protocols.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for design, coding, testing, bug fixing, documentation and technical support in the assigned area. Responsible for on time delivery while adhering to quality and productivity goals.
- Responsible for adhering to guidelines and checklists for all deliverable reviews, sending status report to team lead and following relevant organizational processes.
- Expected to enhance technical capabilities by attending trainings, self-study and periodic technical assessments.Â
- Person at this position is able to apply broad knowledge of their technical discipline or advanced knowledge of specific technical practices.
- Person identifies problems in existing systems and modifies it by following defined work procedures.
- Operationally oriented role responsible for achieving day to day defined tasks.
- Works under close supervision of Team Lead/ Project Manager.
