Virtusa Mass hiring 2024 for Junior Software Engineer . Junior software developers work as entry-level programmers and help the development team with all coding and software design tasks. Learning the codebase, participating in design meetings, writing simple code, resolving bugs, and helping the development manager with all design-related duties are their main responsibilities.
We are seeking a motivated junior software developer to become a member of our skilled software design team. You will help with all aspects of software design and coding and report directly to the development manager. Learning the codebase, gathering user information, and responding to requests from senior developers will be your main priorities.
Skills set Required for this Job :
- computer science bachelor’s degree.
- familiarity with fundamental coding languages such as HTML5, JavaScript, and C++.
- basic knowledge of programming.
- understanding of operating systems and databases.
- strong familiarity with Microsoft Office and email systems.
- the capacity to pick up new technologies and software fast.
- the capacity to cooperate with others and obey directions in a group setting.
- Detail-oriented.
Job Responsibilities
- helping the development manager with all facet of coding and software design.
- participating in and offering input at meetings for company development.
- Gaining knowledge of the codebase and strengthening your coding abilities.
- Composing and preserving code.
- Currently fixing small bugs.
- tracking the internal systems’ technical performance.
- answering the development team’s inquiries.
- collecting data on software functionality from users.
- preparing reports.
- carrying out testing for development.
