CDAC is seeking professionals to design, develop, and deploy intelligent systems that solve real-world problems across domains such as healthcare, governance, language technologies, and cybersecurity. The role involves building ML/DL models, working with large datasets, optimizing algorithms, and translating research outcomes into production-grade solutions.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary research and engineering teams to experiment with emerging AI techniques, evaluate model performance, and contribute to innovation initiatives. Strong foundations in mathematics, programming, and data handling, along with the ability to convert business or mission requirements into AI architectures, are essential.

Educational Qualification

1) BE/B. Tech or Equivalent Degree with 60% or equivalent CGPA OR
2) ME/M. Tech/Equivalent Degree OR
3) Post Graduate Degree in Science/Computer Application or in relevant Domain with 60% or equivalent CGPA OR
4) PhD. in relevant discipline in  Computer Science and Engineering and aligned branches – AI, data science, cybersecurity, IoT, etc., or Information Security, or Electronics & Communication Engineering or Electrical Engineering

Software skills:

• Linux shell scripting, ELK stack/ OpenSearch, Python, Django, Javascript, RegEx, Kafka, Wireshark, REST APIs, Spark, MySQL or PostGreSQL, InfluxDB, Dashboard creation using Grafana/ Kibana
• Usage of Dockers, Airflow, MLFlow
• Usage of Git or other version control system
• Usage of IDS/ IPS like Zeek, Suricata, and writing custom modules for Zeek, Suricata
• AI/ML:
• Numpy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Tensorflow or PyTorch
• ML models (unsupervised, supervised) for Anomaly detection
• Behavioral modeling and Data Analytics
• Familiarity with cyber security knowledge is an added advantage
• Familiarity with OT/SCADA architectures is an added advantage
• Knowledge in OT protocols like Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870-5-104, PROFINET, IEC 61850 is an added advantage
• Knowledge of using Vulnerability Assessment tools like Burp Suite, Nessus shall be an added advantage

Job Profile

• Develop anomaly detection tools for SCADA/ICS/OT systems & communications
• Build scalable pipelines for collecting and processing OT telemetry (Python, Kafka, Logstash).
• Apply AI/ML models for anomaly detection and behavioral analysis on OT networks.
• Engineer dashboards and detection content in ELK/Elastic Stack or similar platforms.
• Collaborate with threat hunters, analysts, and OT/ICS engineers to create tailored detection playbooks.
• Integrate ML pipelines into SIEM/SOAR for automated enrichment and alerting.
• Simulate OT/ICS threats using testbed environments
