Job Overview:

To collaborate with our engineering team in the development, implementation, optimization, and upkeep of cloud-based solutions, we are seeking an experienced cloud engineer. Assuring the security of the cloud infrastructure, training teams on new cloud initiatives, and deploying and debugging cloud stacks will all fall under your purview.

IT specialists known as “cloud engineers” create, set up, and oversee cloud-based systems for companies. They create and deploy cloud applications, debug cloud stacks, and move on-premises apps to the cloud.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• You will work mostly with Architects and Engineers inside and outside of your immediate team – collaborating with whoever necessary to deliver customer value. 
• You will work with Engineering management and contribute to technology strategy for your immediate team. 
• You will work with Customer Success and Technical Assistance teams to support customer issues with top priority. 

Basic qualifications:

• You have 0-2 years expertise in building cloud applications, technical mastery in Java/Scala and any pub-sub platform preferably Kafka 
• Strong development experience in Scala/Java or any object-oriented methodologies 
• You keep abreast with the latest trends and technologies in design and development. 
• You are highly skilled in object oriented and functional programming and in building reliable applications. 
• You are an addict to problem solving – only the hardest problems will satisfy you. You embrace the challenges of achieving the balance between scalability, consistency, and availability within a low latency, real-time operating environment. 
• Exposure to any database and optimisation of queries to fine-tune your application is a plus. 
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Dockers will be a big plus. 
• Excellent collaboration, communication & trouble-shooting skills
