Job Overview

This position is intended for recent graduates who wish to start working in quality assurance and software testing. The technical team that supports CRISIL’s internal platforms and client-facing solutions will include you as a tester.

Job Description

• Good knowledge on testing principles and procedures
• adept at developing scenarios and test cases
• solid understanding of the fundamentals of Java
• knowledgeable about Selenium Java scripting
• Good knowledge of how automation testing is implemented
• solid knowledge of the Selenium web driver
• strong command of the fundamental SQL queries

Responsibilities

• Examine technical and functional requirements to create test scenarios and plans.
• Run manual test cases for several testing kinds, including UI, functional, integration, and regression.
• Defects can be tracked and recorded with Jira or comparable platforms.
• To verify fixes and prevent regression, retest issues that have been fixed.
• Collaborate with development teams to replicate faults and guarantee prompt fixes.
• Record test findings and distribute reports to the appropriate parties.
• Over time, become familiar with and use automation tools (such as Selenium, TestNG, or others).
• Verify databases and conduct data checks to make sure financial and analytical data are accurate.

Qualification & Skills

• Education: B.E., B.Tech.,B.Sc. in computer science, information technology, or a similar discipline.
  fundamental knowledge of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• proficiency in creating and carrying out test cases.
• familiarity with the bug tracking lifecycle and defect reporting.
• strong problem-solving and logical reasoning abilities.
• fundamental understanding of SQL queries and databases for backend validation.
• An additional benefit will be exposure to any programming or scripting language.
• strong teamwork abilities and communication capabilities.
• eagerness to gain expertise in analytics and finance.
