Job Description
We are searching for a driven, enthusiastic apprentice to join our team. The apprentice’s responsibilities include learning and improving practical skills, engaging in seminars and workshops on and offshore, observing all health and safety rules, completing assessments and assignments, as well as providing presentations to staff and other stakeholders. You should be adaptable, well-organized, and eager to help out whenever you can.
Under the guidance of more seasoned colleagues, apprentices pick up particular skills. Depending on their industry, their duties vary, but they are usually compensated while undergoing classroom instruction and supervised training. Additionally, apprentices might have to finish written assignments and maintain records.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the business needs and translate them to functional specifications.
- Understand the complexities of the applications used by business and work on enhancements, process reengineering.
- Identify and work on areas of automation and increase efficiency of the business process.
- Incorporate AI tools for process and procedures and reduce operational cost.
- Support the Implementation of governance standards across the portfolio, including tracking, monitoring and updating the status of project deliverables
- Work with Global stakeholders for communicating on the projects schedule and implementation status.
- Work with the PMO manager to develop the IT Project Standards guide, seeking contributions from Project Managers, QA Team, Engineering Team and APMs to ensure that the Standards meet best practice.
Required Qualifications
- Good analytical, critical thinking skills and ability to formulate clearly and present information in a compelling manner
- Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills with advanced exposure to PowerPoint, Advance Excel and Word is preferable.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL as well as knowledge of Agile methodologies and business intelligence tools.
- Outgoing, confident candidate to be able to work seamlessly across employees
- Exposure to automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python, Power Automate) and data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Preferably to have knowledge or experience of Power Automate/PowerShell/Tableaux skills
- Self-motivated to learn and develop techno-functional skills
