Job Description :
In addition to helping senior engineers with projects, a technology engineering trainee also performs research, develops and tests technical solutions, maintains engineering tools, and records findings and progress. In order to guarantee that projects fulfill safety and quality standards, key duties include project planning, problem-solving, learning and using engineering software and tools, and working with teams. In order to prepare an engineer for future duties, the position is intended to give them real-world experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software
- You will translate functional and technical requirements into detailed architecture and design
- You will need extensive understanding of BDD/TDD practices, code review and analysis techniques, and open source agile testing frameworks.
- You will be part of a technical community and participate in code and design reviews to maintain our high development standards
- You will demonstrate a real passion for innovation! Any experience with Cloud Platforms like AWS, GCP and Deploying and automating infrastructure/applications using Chef, RPM, Docker, AWS (ECS, ECR), Terraform, etc. will help us on our exciting journey
- You will utilize your experience in overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other Technology-related field (Graduation date June 2024)
- Experience or coursework in Java or Python or similar programming languages.
- Experience developing accessible technologies
- You can write very high quality code that is robust and easy to maintain
- Experience in debugging, diagnosing, and trouble-shooting complex, production software
- Detailed knowledge of modern software development life cycles including CI / CD
- You have the ability to operate across a broad and complex business unit with multiple stakeholders

- UI development (e.g. HTML, JavaScript, AngularJS, Angular 12+ and Bootstrap)
- Design patterns
- Agile environments (e.g. Scrum, XP)
- Software development best practices such as TDD (e.g. JUnit), automated testing (e.g. Gauge, Cucumber, FitNesse), continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, GoCD)
