Job Overview:
To help our data scientists with their work, we are looking for a responsible, talented data engineer. The data engineer will be in charge of using machine learning techniques to build and maintain structures that enable data analysis while staying up to date with industry-leading deployment and programming methodologies. You should work with colleagues on different parts of this process to make sure your strategy fits the requirements of each project.
To create frameworks that prepare data for use by data scientists, data engineers use a variety of tools and methods. Among the most popular coding languages used by data engineers are Python, Java, R, and C++
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient data pipelines, ETL processes, ensuring data quality and integrity.
- Build the different components of Data Platform from scratch (Data Lakehouse, Serving & Query infrastructure, Event Streaming Platform, etc).
- Monitor and improve the performance and reliability of data pipelines, platforms, and data infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical designs for data pipelines and data models
Must Haves
- Expert in development of RESTful web services using popular technologies : Java, Spring Boot etc.
- Build , publish and secure APIs (cloud native microservices)
- Expert in developing with middleware , streaming and database technologies like Kafka, Redis, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB etc.
- Experienced in TDD/ADD and Automation testing with Junits, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Jasmin, KarmaRunner, Blazemeter/JMeter
- Knowledge on cloud scaling and containerization – K8S, containers
- Experience in implementing in service mesh infrastructure layer
Good to Haves
- Degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience with user interface design, database structures, and statistical analyses.
- Analytical mindset and good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
