Software Development Engineer (SDE) – Python/Django

Job Overview

Kuku is looking for a motivated Software Development Engineer with 0–3 years of experience. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy backend development and solving technical problems. You will work with Python and Django to build scalable applications and APIs while collaborating with other engineers and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems using Python and Django

• Build secure and scalable REST APIs

• Write clean, readable, and well-structured code

• Improve application speed and performance

• Debug issues and fix bugs in production systems

• Take part in code reviews and technical discussions

• Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams

• Help in designing new features and system improvements

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 0–3 years of experience in backend development

• Strong knowledge of Python

• Understanding of Django or Django REST Framework

• Good knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms

• Ability to solve problems logically

• Basic understanding of REST APIs

• Familiarity with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL

• Knowledge of Git and version control
