Roles and Responsibilities

Requirement Analysis and Design

• Understand business and technical requirements from stakeholders
• Translate requirements into effective technical designs and data workflows
• Participate in design discussions and propose improvements where applicable

Software Development

• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code for data integration tasks
• Enhance existing applications and systems to meet new requirements

Testing and Quality Control

• Create and execute test cases to validate functionality and performance
• Ensure software is compliant with internal coding and security standards
• Support test automation and quality assurance processes

Troubleshooting and Support

• Investigate and resolve technical issues or errors in data pipelines
• Perform root cause analysis for recurring problems and implement fixes
• Monitor system performance and recommend optimizations

Documentation and Reporting

• Maintain clear documentation for design, development, and deployment activities
• Prepare regular status reports and communicate updates to project leads
• Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation for future maintenance

Delivery and Collaboration

• Meet project timelines and delivery expectations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and QA teams
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements or resolve issues

Continuous Improvement

• Stay updated on the latest tools, technologies, and industry best practices
• Suggest process enhancements and contribute to team learning
• Provide support and mentorship to team members when needed

Qualifications and Skills

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Azure Data Factory and data pipeline development
• Knowledge of cloud data architecture and integration patterns
• Familiarity with data modeling, ETL processes, and large-scale data operations

Preferred Technical Skills

• Exposure to other Azure services such as Azure Synapse, Data Lake, or Azure SQL
• Experience with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell
• Understanding of version control tools (e.g., Git)Familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD practices
