Job Overview

We are seeking a professional software test engineer to join our QA team. As a software test engineer, you will be in charge of assessing software features and developing test methods to guarantee that products perform as expected. You will also be in charge of performing all testing procedures, recommending performance adjustments, and creating performance reports for the development managers.

Key job responsibilities

• You execute walk-about testing using mobile phones and/or receiver devices and Dexcom CGM device, while monitoring and verifying behavior through over-the-air wireless sniffer.
• You execute test cases with embedded Bluetooth Low Energy connected device, while monitoring the GUI to verify product requirements.
• You verify and compare translation documentation to find issues.
• You verify Receiver HW audible and haptic features.
• You debug issues.
• You generate and record documentation during the process.
• You provide regular updates to the team.
• You have skills in embedded device testing with mobile phones, understanding of wireless communication protocols, and over-the-air protocol sniffing and debugging.
• You understand programming language(s).
• You execute manual test scenarios to validate and debug our next generation CGM Transmitters and Receivers.
• You work under FDA regulated quality environment to create test logs, test reports, traceability matrix, and other required documentation for test projects.
• You proactively identify and mitigate risks and resolve roadblocks.
• You debug issues using system logs and/or wireless sniffer on wireless protocols.
