Job Description :

We are looking for an Associate System Engineer to support the operations and administration of the IT infrastructure monitoring platform LogicMonitor. The role involves monitoring infrastructure health, supporting operational activities, assisting with audit and reporting requirements, and ensuring optimal performance of monitoring systems.

The ideal candidate should have foundational knowledge of Windows systems, networking concepts, and basic Azure navigation, along with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. The candidate will work closely with infrastructure, application, and network teams to ensure monitoring coverage, incident response, and operational efficiency.

Technical/ R&D

Roles in R&D involve maintaining and improving the quality of existing products, improving manufacturing processes, and designing and developing new products. Hawkins designs and develops all its products in-house. It is one of the very few manufacturers in India that designs and develops consumer products domestically and exports them worldwide. Our products are designed for utility, durability, and aesthetics. We are a Government-recognised R&D centre.

Roles in Quality involve problem-solving, setting standards, testing, and quality control. Knowledge of statistical quality control techniques, root cause analysis, quality circles, process documentation, destructive and non-destructive testing, and leading quality improvement projects is required.

Roles in Maintenance involve maintaining plant and machinery, and planning and executing preventive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime. Also improving processes and maintaining pollution control.

IT/Systems

• Good practical knowledge of one or more of the following is required: C++, C#, SQL, Java, Dart, ASP.NET, HTML/CSS, XML, Python, Android, Flutter, React Native, Tableau, and Power BI. Apply only if you enjoy coding and solving real-life problems.
  
• The role involves designing reports, implementing automation, and supporting various business functions with IT solutions, including emerging areas such as Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence. Skills in Data Science and Analytics applied to consumer and customer data, including GIS mapping, are also desirable.

The role involves identifying business needs and recruiting the right talent, conducting annual appraisals, career planning, induction and training, recruitment and separation, negotiations with unions, ensuring compliance with labour laws applicable to factories and establishments, and providing feedback to senior management.

The job in HR may involve:
a. Designing internal and external training programs
b. Mapping competency gaps and planning to address them
c. Onboarding employees
d. Managing diversity and equity initiatives, including organising town halls
e. Improving appraisal systems

The job in Admin may involve:
a. Managing office/factory services and administrative work
b. Executive Assistants to senior managers

Accounts / Audit

• We are looking for accounting professionals who are at least commerce graduates. A good understanding of basic accounting principles, strong numerical ability, and a disciplined and careful approach are essential. Proficiency in spreadsheets is desirable.
• The role includes Finance, Direct and Indirect Taxation, Audit and Reconciliation, setting up Accounting Control Systems, Budgeting, Production Accounting, and Management Accounting. Hawkins runs its own accounting IT systems. A unique and exciting aspect of this role is the opportunity to design reports and systems rather than being limited to legacy software. A strong understanding of accounting standards and the ability to work with internal and external auditors is required.
