Job Description :

KPIT is conducting a campus hiring drive exclusively for fresh engineering graduates to join its growing team of automotive software engineers. As the modern automobile evolves into a software-defined machine — with over 150 million lines of code and rapidly advancing features in AI, cloud computing, and over-the-air updates — KPIT is looking for passionate, driven graduates ready to build their careers at the intersection of engineering and software.

Selected candidates will join KPIT’s freshers’ “Internship” and “Genesis” programs, where they will receive structured, top-notch training and mentorship from practice leaders and subject matter experts. This onboarding is designed to equip new hires with the technical skills and domain knowledge needed to thrive in the fast-evolving automotive landscape, before being aligned to a specific technology track based on business requirements.

Qualification

Fresh engineering graduate (all eligible engineering disciplines as per KPIT’s campus criteria)
Strong academic foundation with an aptitude for problem-solving and coding
Willingness to sign a 2-year service agreement as per company policy

Responsibilities

Contribute to building software solutions for new-age mobility, aligned to one of the following domains based on business need: Autonomous Driving, AUTOSAR (Adaptive & Classic), Powertrain (Electric + Conventional), Vehicle Diagnostics, Vehicle Engineering & Design, Body Electronics, Connected Vehicles, and Digital Connected Solutions
Participate actively in the Internship/Genesis training program and apply learnings to live project work
Collaborate with practice leaders, mentors, and cross-functional teams to deliver quality software solutions
Continuously build domain knowledge in automotive and mobility technologies
Communicate effectively within project teams and with stakeholders

Required Skills

Affinity for coding and strong problem-solving ability
Good communication skills
Domain knowledge (automotive/mobility awareness is a plus)
Familiarity with one or more of the following (based on eventual role alignment):
Embedded Systems and C Programming
Model-Based Design with MATLAB®/Simulink
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with C++
AI/ML, AWS, Data Science
