Job Description

Amazon is hiring an IT Support Associate II – OpsTech IT Service Desk for its Global Service Desk team in Bangalore. The role focuses on providing remote IT support to Amazon’s global operations teams through phone, chat, and ServiceNow.

The candidate will troubleshoot technical issues, resolve IT support requests, assist users with system access, and escalate complex issues to the appropriate technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide remote IT support through phone and chat.
• Handle IT incidents and service requests assigned through ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical and desktop-support issues.
• Follow established IT support policies, procedures, and escalation processes.
• Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate support teams.
• Perform troubleshooting and deep-dive analysis to identify recurring issues.
• Prepare analytics and reports related to IT support activities.
• Create and maintain IT support policies, procedures, and processes.
• Provide a professional, friendly, and customer-focused support experience.
• Support Amazon’s 24×7 global operations environment.

Required Qualifications

• Business-level fluency in Japanese (JLPT N1 or above).
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• 0–1 year of experience in IT Support or a related field.
• 0–1 year of experience with remote troubleshooting and desktop support.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced support environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working in mission-critical or 24×7 operations.
• JLPT N1 certification.
• Experience with ServiceNow / ITSM ticketing systems.
• Experience working in a high-volume service desk or help desk environment.
• Experience with remote troubleshooting tools and remote desktop support.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
