Birlasoft is looking for a Trainee who can contribute to web application development and support business requirements. The role involves working with modern front-end technologies such as JavaScript and React.js, along with HTML5/CSS3, while also requiring foundational knowledge of Java/J2EE.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web-based applications according to business requirements.
• Work with JavaScript to build interactive and functional web interfaces.
• Create and enhance user interfaces using React.js.
• Use React workflows and state-management approaches such as Redux or similar technologies.
• Write clean and maintainable code following established development practices.
• Participate in application design, development, testing, and debugging.
• Prepare and maintain technical/design documentation when required.
• Ensure developed solutions meet defined specifications and project requirements.
• Follow the organization’s software development lifecycle and coding standards.
• Collaborate with team members to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Apply Java/J2EE knowledge when working on relevant application components.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with relevant academic knowledge and project experience in web development may be considered for the trainee position.
• Good understanding of software development fundamentals.
• Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively within a development team.

Required Skills

Front-End Development

• Strong understanding of JavaScript.
• Knowledge of DOM manipulation and JavaScript objects.
• Good understanding of React.js and its fundamental concepts.
• Hands-on knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.
• Familiarity with React-based development workflows.
• Knowledge of Redux or similar state-management solutions.

Java Development
