Job Overview
Focus on Systems Engineering and Product Design. Entry level graduate with limited commercial and technical work experience. Build skills and expertise in a chosen Engineering Discipline. Works to instructions and directions and delivers reliable results. Solves routine problems. Organises own time with a short time horizon.
This role entails the development and application of engineering practice and knowledge in the creation and assurance of products and solutions across engineering disciplines. Includes defining the fundamental concepts and properties of an engineered system or product, creatively determining a product’s physical form, function and performance, and the assurance of safety, reliability, availability and maintainability. Also addresses the through life support and evolution of systems and products, via provision and support of documentation and information assets, assessment of whole lifecycle environmental impact against environmental regulations and policies, and incorporation of renewable energy sources and clean technologies into product and system design.

Key Responsibilities
- System Testing & QA: Execute test plans and debug new software/hardware products to identify, log, and troubleshoot glitches before they reach customers.
- Technical Support: Serve as the first or second line of defense for technical inquiries, diagnosing user issues and providing clear, actionable solutions.
- Product Maintenance: Assist in the configuration, setup, and routine maintenance of internal hardware and software systems.
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including troubleshooting guides, system configurations, and FAQs for internal teams and end-users.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers and engineers to relay user feedback and assist in the rollout of new product features.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS, or Linux), basic networking concepts, and hardware troubleshooting.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: A natural curiosity for how things work and a structured approach to troubleshooting and resolving complex issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple, user-friendly terms.
