Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled SQL Developer to design, develop, and optimize robust database solutions for our scalable applications. In this role, you will be responsible for creating efficient relational database structures, writing complex database code, and ensuring data is secure and readily available. You will collaborate closely with software engineers, data analysts, and system architects to maintain database performance and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Database Development: Build database tables, schemas, views, and dictionaries aligned with application needs.
- Code Implementation: Write complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and user-defined functions.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize large, complicated SQL statements and index systems to minimize execution time.
- Data Integration: Develop and manage robust ETL processes and data migration pipelines across environments.
- System Maintenance: Monitor server resource usage, diagnose bottlenecks, and troubleshoot database issues.
- Security Control: Implement user authentication, establish access permissions, and maintain auditable data records.
- Collaboration: Work with product and analytics teams to design data models that solve business problems.
- Documentation: Write clear technical scripts, schema change logs, and database design documentation.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL for querying databases stands as essential, alongside familiarity with MSBI stack
- Basic data modeling, ETL concepts, and understanding of data warehousing
- Writing SQL queries, testing data quality, and troubleshooting simple issues under senior guidance.
- 24*7 support & monitoring ServiceNow dashboard and customer support
- Entry-level troubleshooting and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and storage systems under senior supervision
- Monitor data pipelines and systems for basic performance issues, alerting seniors
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure, along with ETL concepts and data quality checks, proves useful
- Soft skills like Problem-solving aptitude, eagerness to learn, and clear communication
