JOB DESCRIPTION

GlobalLogic is hiring freshers from Mechanical and Civil Engineering backgrounds for its Indoor Mapping team. In this role, you will work with CAD drawings and floor plans, and use GIS tools to create, digitize, and maintain high-quality indoor maps. The work also involves coordinating with stakeholders, ensuring maps are updated and delivered on time as per SLA standards, and supporting process improvements through reports and workflow optimization.

This role suits freshers with a B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering who have knowledge of AutoCAD, QGIS/ArcGIS, and Adobe Illustrator. Candidates should be quick learners with strong communication and analytical skills, comfortable working from office in rotational shifts, and ready to join immediately.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Read and interpret CAD files and floor plans
• Handle and process CAD drawings as part of daily tasks
• Create and digitize indoor maps using GIS tools
• Maintain and update indoor maps for accuracy
• Ensure timely delivery of maps as per SLA standards
• Communicate with stakeholders and join project discussions
• Optimize workflows and generate reports
• Support continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Knowledge of AutoCAD, QGIS, or ArcGIS
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Ability to read and interpret CAD files and floor plans
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail

QUALIFICATIONS / PREFERRED SKILLS

• B.Tech degree
• 0-1 years of experience
• Quick learner with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude
• Good written and verbal communication skills
