Job Description – Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / DevOps (2024, 2025 & 2026 Graduates)

Media.net is hiring fresh graduates and early-career engineers for its Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps team. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with infrastructure, automation, cloud technologies, Linux systems, networking, and distributed applications.

As an SRE, you will contribute to designing and maintaining reliable, scalable, and secure infrastructure that supports mission-critical applications. You will build automation tools, improve deployment pipelines, monitor system health, troubleshoot production issues, and collaborate with engineering teams to enhance platform reliability and performance. The role also provides exposure to AI-powered engineering workflows and modern cloud-native technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable infrastructure and internal engineering platforms.
• Automate operational tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Monitor production environments and resolve performance, availability, and reliability issues.
• Work with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application deployment and system reliability.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Optimize system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Explore and utilize AI-assisted engineering tools to improve productivity.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of Linux, Operating Systems, and Computer Networks.
• Knowledge of Python, Go, C++, or JavaScript.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Understanding of Kubernetes, containers, Git, CI/CD, and DevOps principles.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving engineering practices.

Eligibility

• Graduation year: 2024, 2025, or 2026
• Candidates from Computer Science (CS) and Information Technology (IT) backgrounds are preferred.
• Freshers and candidates with up to 2 years of experience are eligible to apply.
