Mercedes-Benz is looking for a Graduate Trainee – AI/Automation to join its technology-driven team in Chakan, Pune. This opportunity is well suited for fresh graduates who want to begin their careers in Artificial Intelligence, automation, data-driven solutions, and digital transformation.

In this role, you will work on practical business and operational challenges, explore opportunities for AI and automation, and contribute to projects designed to improve efficiency, productivity, and processes.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Identify business and operational processes where AI and automation can deliver measurable improvements.
• Assist in designing, developing, and implementing technology-based solutions for real-world operational challenges.
• Learn existing AI and automation projects and contribute to their ongoing development.
• Support the enhancement, testing, maintenance, and continuous improvement of deployed solutions.
• Collaborate with different teams to understand requirements and convert them into practical technical solutions.
• Explore emerging AI technologies and automation approaches that could improve productivity and process efficiency.
• Analyze existing workflows and suggest opportunities for digital transformation.
• Document solutions, processes, and project outcomes for future improvements.
• Work with experienced team members and mentors while gaining exposure to enterprise-level technology projects.

Qualification

• B.E. / B.Tech in:
  • Computer Science
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Data Science
  • Information Technology
  • or a related engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of experience can apply.
• Candidates who can join immediately are preferred.
• Strong interest in AI, automation, software technologies, and problem-solving.

Skills Required

• Basic understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning concepts.
• Familiarity with Python or another programming language.
• Understanding of data handling, analysis, and logical problem-solving.
• Interest in automation, digital transformation, and emerging technologies.
• Good analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies and understand existing systems.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to approach real-world problems with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of AI tools, automation platforms, APIs, or data science concepts would be an added advantage.
