Job Description :

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Engineer in Testing to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will undergo hands-on training to learn the fundamentals of software testing, automation frameworks, and quality assurance best practices. You will work alongside experienced QA engineers to ensure our software applications are robust, scalable, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

• Test Execution: Execute meticulously designed manual test cases and scripts to identify software defects.
• Bug Tracking: Log, track, and verify resolved bugs using issue-tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla.
• Automation Learning: Assist in the creation and maintenance of automated test scripts under the guidance of senior team members.
• Documentation: Help create and update test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and user manuals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with developers, product managers, and QA leads to understand requirements and ensure product quality.
• Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest testing trends, tools, and methodologies.

Required Skills and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related technical field.
• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Programming Skills: Foundational knowledge of at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C# or JavaScript).
• Database Skills: Basic familiarity with querying databases using SQL.
• Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
