SEO Intern (3-Month Internship) Full Time

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated SEO Intern to join our digital marketing team for a 3-month internship. The primary objective of this internship is to increase organic (unpaid) website traffic by implementing effective Search Engine Optimization (SEO) strategies. You will gain hands-on experience working on live projects, learning how to improve search engine rankings, optimize website performance, and drive sustainable organic growth. A Pre-Placement Offer (PPO) may be extended based on your performance, contribution, learning attitude, and overall impact during the internship.

During the internship, you will work closely with the marketing and content teams to execute on-page and off-page SEO activities, perform keyword research, optimize website content, analyze SEO performance, and identify growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research using SEO tools to identify high-potential keywords.
• Perform On-Page SEO including title tags, meta descriptions, heading optimization, URL optimization, internal linking, image optimization, and content optimization.
• Execute Off-Page SEO activities such as quality backlink building, directory submissions, guest posting, and outreach.
• Monitor website rankings, traffic, and SEO performance using Google Search Console and Google Analytics.
• Optimize website content based on SEO best practices and search intent.
• Perform website audits to identify technical SEO issues and recommend improvements.
• Analyze competitors’ SEO strategies and identify ranking opportunities.
• Track keyword rankings and prepare weekly SEO performance reports.
• Stay updated with the latest Google algorithm updates and SEO trends.
• Collaborate with content writers and developers to implement SEO recommendations.

Required Skills

• Basic understanding of On-Page SEO and Off-Page SEO.
• Knowledge of keyword research and search intent analysis.
• Familiarity with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar.
• Understanding of technical SEO fundamentals including sitemap, robots.txt, page speed, mobile optimization, and indexing.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and WordPress is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work independently.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Marketing, Computer Science, IT, Business, or related fields preferred).
• Freshers and students with a strong interest in Digital Marketing and SEO are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing concepts will be an advantage.
