JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Software Engineer at SLB, you will assist in developing new applications, helping refine requirements before coding begins, and supporting enhancements and bug fixes for existing products. Day-to-day, you will work under general supervision, learning engineering processes, coding practices, and business standards followed across different engineering disciplines while contributing to ongoing software projects.

This role is ideal for freshers with a degree in Computer Science or a related field who are eager to learn and grow in a structured environment. Candidates who are detail-oriented, willing to follow defined coding practices, and comfortable working under guidance during the initial learning phase will fit well into this role.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in developing new applications and features
• Support refining requirements before coding starts
• Write clean code following business and coding standards
• Fix defects and bugs in existing products
• Support enhancement activities for current systems
• Learn and follow engineering processes and procedures
• Collaborate with senior engineers and team members
• Test and validate code changes before deployment
