Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior DevOps / Platform Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and early-career professionals who are passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, platform reliability, and modern software delivery practices.
As a Platform Engineer, you will contribute to building, maintaining, and optimizing cloud-based environments while supporting development teams with deployment, monitoring, and infrastructure management activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and maintaining cloud infrastructure across modern cloud platforms.
- Support the implementation and enhancement of CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
- Monitor application and infrastructure performance to ensure system stability and availability.
- Participate in containerization and orchestration initiatives using modern platform technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve deployment efficiency and operational reliability.
- Help automate routine operational tasks through scripting and infrastructure automation tools.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues.
- Contribute to security, backup, and system maintenance activities.
- Document platform configurations, operational procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated with emerging DevOps trends, tools, and technologies.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- 0–3 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, System Administration, or related areas.
- Freshers with relevant internships, academic projects, certifications, or hands-on training are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interest in cloud infrastructure, automation, and modern software delivery practices.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, and load balancing.
- Knowledge of container technologies and orchestration platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD concepts and deployment workflows.
- Exposure to at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic scripting knowledge using Python, Bash, or Shell scripting.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving technologies.
Preferred Skills
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Understanding of infrastructure monitoring and logging solutions.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts.
- Cloud certifications or DevOps-related certifications.
- Experience working on personal projects, internships, or open-source contributions.
