Job Description :
Adobe is looking for an exceptional Developer focused on platform and automation to join a distributed engineering team. In this role, you will own and evolve large-scale automation systems that support build, integration, release workflows, and engineering visibility across client-side and web/mobile platforms.
You will help architect resilient CI/CD platforms, select and extend toolchains, support peer engineering teams, and ensure systems produce reliable, actionable signals that enable high-quality, customer-ready releases. Building software at Adobe’s scale demands automation that is fast, dependable, and data-driven.

Responsibilities
- As an Individual contributor, develop new framework/features, maintain product features with responsibility for the full product development cycle from early specs, prototypes to implementation to release and maintenance.
- Conceptualization of product design, estimation, risk analysis, development and debugging.
- Space-time performance optimization, usability and stability improvements.
- Monitor/debug highly available and high traffic systems that run 24×7 with minimal downtime, load balancing, failure detection and fail over options.
- Comfort using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to write, test, and iterate on code within established standards.
- Work collaboratively with a global team of engineers to create shared software components to enable a new generation of mobile video and audio creation applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Computer Science
- Proficient in C++, data structures and algorithms.
- Experience writing optimized and performant code in c++ and proficient in end to end debugging and profiling multi-threaded applications
- Able to maintain development standards, especially related to performance, robustness, and scalability
- Problem-solving skills, with experience in defining and understanding complex system architectures and design patterns
- Experience building features using AI tools.
- Possess excellent communication skills to be able to articulate deep technical decisions
- Ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in video processing domain will be preferred
Preferred skills:
- Handson experience with AWS (EC2, EKS,ECS, RDS, ElastiCache, S3, CloudWatch, IAM,MSK, SageMaker)
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices
- Experience with multi-region, multi-AZ deployments
- Deep knowledge of Docker and container orchestration
- Understanding of container networking, storage, and security
- Proficiency with CloudFormation or Terraform
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Understanding of infrastructure automation principles
- Strong proficiency in Python and/or Bash scripting
- Experience with automation frameworks and tools
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and CDN
- Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and VPNs
- Experience with SSL/TLS certificates and encryption
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions,Argo)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Chef)
- Understanding of microservices architecture
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures
