Hexaware Interview Experience

Interview Experience – 1

I applied for Hexaware through an off-campus drive, which I came across on an online platform. After completing the registration process, I received a confirmation email.

Two weeks later, I got the admit card for the Hexaware Online Assessment, which also mentioned the rounds of the drive. There were four rounds in total:

  1. Online Test
  2. Communication Assessment
  3. Technical Interview
  4. HR Interview

Round 1: Online Test
This was an online test covering both aptitude and technical questions. The test had four sections: Numerical Ability, English Verbal, Reasoning, and Technical questions (mostly pseudocode-based). There were 75 questions in total with no negative marking.

Round 2: Communication Assessment
After two days, I received a selection mail for the Communication Assessment round. This round evaluated reading, listening, grammar, and general verbal ability. It was not very difficult but required good focus. This round was also non-eliminatory.

Round 3: Technical Interview
Next, I received an email with the details of my technical interview, including the date, time, and interviewer’s name. The interviewer asked questions such as:

  • Tell me about yourself.
  • Which programming languages are you familiar with?
  • What is DBMS?
  • What is a stack, and how does it differ from a queue?
  • What is JDK?
  • Give an example of an abstract class.
  • Questions related to my project.

Round 4: HR Interview
Three days later, I was shortlisted for the HR round. The interviewer introduced herself and asked me to give my introduction. Some of the HR questions included:

  • Where are you from?
  • Are you comfortable relocating?
  • What are your salary expectations?
  • Tell me about your family background.

A week later, I received the offer letter, and I was thrilled to see that I had been selected.

Interview Experience 2

I came to know about this Hexaware drive through Instagram. As soon as I saw it, I applied using the provided link. I also learned that the recruitment process had been updated this time, with a total of four rounds. Here’s a detailed account of my experience with each round:

Round 1: Online Test
The first round was an online MCQ test with four sections:

  • Verbal Ability – 10 questions
  • Logical Ability – 10 questions
  • Numerical Ability – 10 questions
  • Domain-based – 45 questions

The total time allotted was 135 minutes. After completing this round, I received a selection mail from Superset confirming my shortlisting for the next round.

Round 2: Communication Round
The second round was designed to assess communication skills. This round was non-eliminatory and focused on evaluating reading, listening, grammar, and general verbal ability.

Round 3: Technical Round
After clearing the communication round, I attended the technical interview. The interviewer primarily asked questions related to the programming languages listed in my resume. As I am from the ECE branch, most questions were technical and domain-specific, such as:

  • Explain the difference between Electrical and Electronics.
  • Write a program to find the factorial of a number.
  • Differences between C and C++.
  • Define cut-off frequency.
  • Mention two differences between positive and negative feedback.
  • Explain Barkhausen Criterion.
  • What is a signal?
  • Briefly describe Zener’s breakdown.

Round 4: HR Round
The final round was the HR interview. This round was relatively easy and included questions about my family, hobbies, favorite game, and favorite movie.

Four days after the HR round, I received the selection mail confirming my offer.
